I learned more than I thought possible in a three week period, thank you! The instructors were very attentive, concise and patient. Repetitive practice made tasks that seemed at first complex, soon simple. They made sure that we had no doubt in what we were doing and how to do it. They were always clear on what we could improve on and encouraged practice.
The course location was more than perfect? I found it unbelievably amazing that Base Camp included a rescue cliff, water supply, top roping, and 3 wonderful mountains all requiring different skills to be utilized and learned- a perfect place to learn how to climb big mountains.
At anytime, the instructors were both happy to stop what they were doing to answer and or help with any issue.
Our trip really set the course for what I want for the rest of my life. I am currently training and working under an experienced guide and will be taking the SPI exam by the end of the year. I have also been invited and accepted the offer to join an expedition to Ecuador in December. I have also changed my major to geography. These choices have come as a result of the time I had to reflect and the experience I gained through our course. I have my heart set on becoming a guide and have the full support of my family. I just wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for all your mentoring before and during our expedition.
The location is one that I will never forget and will definitely return to. I also thought the Blanca served the purpose very well as a mountaineering and international expedition training ground.

I felt great about arriving in Lima, getting to the hostel and having the right grear for the course. Josh is fantastic at responding to emails and this makes logistics and questions a breeze.
